General feedback from confident readers

We value young people’s opinions on our books and our authors and editors will often make changes to manuscripts after young readers have read the story and sent us their feedback.

Print off a manuscript and comment in detail via an online form. See our Young Editors’ Resources section for hints and tips for good editing and reviewing. Readers may also submit suggestions for back-jacket copy, feedback on the title of the book and ideas for cover artwork and illustrations. You can also send us material through the post if you prefer.

Please tell us about yourself

Please note that we may not be able to accommodate all preferences in all categories. Many of our titles contain magic and fantastical elements. Contact between characters of opposite gender reflects UK societal norms. Our 16+ manuscripts may contain infrequent strong language and references to violence, sex, alcohol and/or drugs (any content of this type is treated thoughtfully).

We would also like to notify you when any books on which you consult are published, and from time to time of related new releases or special offers we think may be of interest to you. Please unselect should you wish not to receive any further correspondence from Barrington Stoke.
